Brittany is a Video Editor for long-form unscripted television in Los Angeles, CA. Her most recent work includes Hot Rod Garage Season 12 and Roadkill Garage Season 9.
Brittany graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2016 with a B.F.A. in Film and Television and a minor in Sound Design. Later that year, Brittany began working at MindOverEye (now known as MotorTrend Studio) as an Assistant Editor for MotorTrend Original Programming.
In this role, she AE’d 12 shows in Production spanning 97 episodes including Roadkill, Dirt Every Day, Hot Rod Garage, and Engine Masters. In this position she prepped Avid projects for Editors, on-lined and conformed master sequences to and from Sound Mix and Color Grade, created deliverables for SVOD, Netflix, and Youtube distribution, and much more.
In 2018, Brittany was promoted to Lead Assistant Editor for MotorTrend Original Programming. During her tenure as LAE, Brittany worked across 24 shows spanning 429 episodes. In this position, she not only performed standard AE duties, she trained and supervised 15+ Assistant Editors. Brittany created and implemented workflows for broadcast deliverables, quality control, on-lining projects, and archiving episodes. Additionally, she edited episodes of Roadkill’s Junkyard Gold, Best Driver’s Car, and Engine Masters.
In 2022, Brittany made the transition to full-time editing. As an Editor for MotorTrend Studio, she edited Seasons 7-8 of Engine Masters, Season 9 of Roadkill Garage, and Season 12 of Hot Rod Garage.
